As I build this website, putting in pictures that we have installed over the years and thinking back to the partnerships and friends that where first customers coming to the realization this has been and will continue to be a really fun ride. In the window covering industry we have had a couple of career choices that has help us to develop to where we are today. It does not seem like 23 years ago but our first business Ledbetter Blinds was our starting point until one of my main suppliers talk me into becoming one of their sales representative. While holding that position, I had the great privilege of meeting so many successful business owners and some that were still finding there way. I can say I learn a ton from all those guys and still keep in touch with a few today. They were from all over TN, MS, AR. After five years of being on the road and my oldest looking like he grew a foot taller after every road trip, I decided it was time to throw my hat back into the arena again as a business owner and see if I could create a company that I would be proud of. Fourteen years later that is Superior Blinds and Shutters.  I am blessed with outstanding installers: Mike and Cary which are the true secret to a great window covering business. The owner or sales person can sell you the ideas for your windows but the installer has got to care, and treat each install like its their own home. Again I am truly grateful for them. Also blessed with a great family, my wife that has the patience of a saint to listen to all these ideas my crazy brain comes up with. My boys Samuel and Simon, my third degree black belt oldest and second degree black belt youngest, definitely keep me on my toes. My hobbies are my family, watching my boys politely kick people in the head when they spar, and window coverings. Hopefully I can add working out to that list of hobbies this year, but we will see. Thanks to all my previous customers and future ones or better put my friends.
